The Platform

The e-learning platform developed within the Sustain-TEX project is based on a Learning Management System (LMS). It enables the complete management of all aspects of an online learning environment, such as courses, videos, reading materials, assessments, scores, and certification. It is a standalone and autonomous learning system, in the sense that it does not require any manual assessment and/or an instructor's presence, meaning that learners navigate through the platform autonomously and receive their scores as quickly as they progress in courses.

All courses in Sustain-TEX are made available for free, requiring the creation of a user account, only in the case that the learner seeks to pursue certification. Learners, willing to do so, should cover all the materials and score 80 or above on the quizzes. They can retake quizzes up to 5 times to score higher. Once the above criteria are met, the system will automatically generate a certificate and inform the learner via e-mail.

Learners will have lifetime access to the courses, so there is no deadline to complete a course. They will also have access to all materials even after completion. Lastly, learners do not have to follow the sequential order or complete all materials unless they would like to pursue certification, as mentioned previously.

Training interface and navigation

By clicking the 'Log in' ('Giriş') button on the top right, you can create an account. You need to provide an email address, name and surname, and a password. Once the account is created and logged in, you will have access to the user interface. By clicking the button under the project's logo ('Kursa Başla') on the course's homepage, you can access the course content. The content starts with an 'Introduction to the Training Program'. You can navigate between course content via the button at the bottom of each page or the panel on the left bar containing all course materials. You do not have to follow the content order and can access any material in the order you wish. If you seek to pursue certification, you have to cover all content and complete all quizzes, scoring 80 or above. In that case, the platform will grant a certificate and inform you automatically. You can retake quizzes up to 5 times to score higher. 

Optionally, you can access the material for free. Scroll down and view the course content ('Kurs İçeriği'). By clicking each separate part, you will access the content. However, keep in mind that you can take quizzes without logging in to the platform. Now, you can start discovering what the program offers!
